Pokémon Brass Concert by Brass Ensemble Members of NHK Symphony Orchestra in Singapore

The NHK Symphony Orchestra will present the “60th Anniversary of Singapore–Japan Diplomatic Relations: NHK Symphony Orchestra Singapore Concert” on 29 April 2026. To commemorate our first performance in Singapore in 24 years, we are pleased to give a free brass nonet concert, “Pokémon Brass Concert by Brass Ensemble Members of NHK Symphony Orchestra.”
Alongside timeless classical masterpieces, the program includes well‑known Pokémon themes enjoyed across generations in Singapore. Audiences will experience the rich and dynamic sound unique to a brass ensemble. Pikachu will also make a special appearance, adding to the welcoming atmosphere for audiences of all ages.
The concert will take place at the Esplanade DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre, a landmark overlooking Marina Bay and the iconic Merlion. Set against the waterfront skyline, the event will offer a meaningful occasion where brass ensemble music and the world of Pokémon come together.
Through this performance, we hope to further promote cultural exchange between Singapore and Japan and to provide an opportunity for children and younger generations to experience the appeal of orchestral music.
