Masterpiece Performances of NHK Symphony Orchestra to be Aired and Transmitted to the World from NHK WORLD-JAPAN – Hotto Concert also to be Broadcast

Some of the finest selections of the NHK Symphony Orchestra’s performances conducted by world’s foremost conductors are to be broadcast and transmitted on-line this winter again from NHK WORLD-JAPAN, the English-language international broadcasting channel of NHK. Collaborations with the most prominent maestros – Fabio Luisi, Herbert Blomstedt and Roger Norrington - and the NHK Symphony Orchestra will be transmitted worldwide. Highlights of N-kyo Hotto Concert, a family concert held in August 2021, will also be aired and transmitted as a Christmas special in this winter.


The programs can be viewed via the Internet, satellite broadcasting and cable television wherever you are in the world, while in Japan, via live streaming simultaneously with the TV broadcast. (Free of charge). After the broadcast of the programs, you can watch at NHK WORLD-JAPAN’s website or via on demand. (Free of charge / available for three months.)
