Meidensha presents the NHK Symphony Orchestra Masterpiece Concert 2021 Conducted by Paavo Järvi on the NHK Symphony Orchestra Official YouTube Channel

Transmission of Meidensha presents the NHK Symphony Orchestra Masterpiece Concert 2021 conducted by Paavo Järvi with violin solo performance by Moné Hattori in September 2021 on the official YouTube channel of the NHK Symphony Orchestra has started for one-year duration.

 

Paavo Järvi took up Saint-Saens "Symphony No. 3 C Minor Op. 78 (with organ)", one of the major works of the composer whose centenary of death will be marked later this year. Moné Hattori, a young violinist with promising future displayed a brilliant solo performance in Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece Violin Concerto.

 

The visual image of the concert was taken by students of Tokyo University of Technology's School of Media Science.
Together with the concert, you can also enjoy interviews by students with some members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra telling their candid feeling as well as a making-of video in which you can have an inside look at NHK Symphony Orchestra’s rehearsal studio as well as Suntory Hall.
